For 10 years, Tom & Susan Durant, the owners of Classic Leasing, employees, and local Classic Leasing advocates have raised over $4 million for non-profit organizations in the DFW community. Tom & Susan Durant ensure the Classic Leasing Charity Fund includes a variety of local organizations, focusing on combating hunger, poverty, and homelessness, working with children and adults with disabilities, supporting our military and veterans, and more. Each year, Tom & Susan challenge the team to go above and beyond in making this year a year to remember. Please join us in making that goal a reality.

11th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament
Thank you all for joining the 11th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament. Because of your participation and donations we are on path to have another record breaking year. In November, Classic Chevrolet will have the privilege of cutting 13 checks and presenting them to our dedicated and serving non-profit organizations, putting these donations right back into this great community!

2nd Annual Dragon Hockey Car Wash
Classic Chevrolet teamed up with Southlake Carroll Hockey Association for the 2nd year in a row, with the 2nd Annual Dragon Hockey Car Wash! The 2022-2023 JV & Varsity teams were at Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine, TX, raising funds for new team gear. Classic Chevrolet owners, Tom & Susan Durant, are matching all funds earned by the Teams, and they've got a big goal this year. Help us raise funds for the upcoming season!

Carter BloodCare | Blood Drive
We hosted Carter BloodCare for our annual Blood Drive. Carter BloodCare brought 3 of their Mobile Donor Coaches to Classic Chevrolet. Everyone, from technicians to salespeople, had the opportunity to take time out of their day to donate. In total, the Classic Chevrolet team donated almost 100 pints of blood. 2022 Classic Chevrolet Charity Fund | Wine Tasting
Our first Classic Chevrolet Charity Fund event of the year was a huge success, raising $20,000 for our 2022 Charity Fund Recipients! With almost 100 guests, we packed the Tasting Room (aka our Service Lounge) and learned so much from the knowledgeable Larry White & the team from A Wine Know. From corn hole games to vacation packages, we had an array of auction and raffle items, and thanks to our team’s hard work and generosity, all items were donated. It was such a fun and rewarding event that we think this is the start of a new tradition.

2nd Annual Classic Chevrolet Fishing Tournament | Tarrant County Opens
With over 40 boats entered, it was quite the competition. Our Technicians, Paul Landers and Robert Vaughn, spearheaded the event, organizing the vendors and volunteers and inviting Victory Fishing Events to do the weigh-in with their live-release tank. Our food sponsor, ikon Technologies, provided the delicious Taquikardia food truck with their amazing fish tacos.

AACFA DFW Benefit Car Show | Dallas Dog Rescue.Rehab.Reform
Cars, dogs, and free food– What else is needed for a Saturday full of family fun? According to the 50+ cars that showed up and twice as many guests, not much else! We had so much fun meeting folks and making new friends who have the same passions as we do. Eric Hall, our Internet Director, is a member of the DFW Chapter of All-American Camaro & Firebird Association who hosted this event, and it was such a success…that we look forward to next year. Party on the Peninsula | Metroport Meals on Wheels

GRACE Grapevine Christmas Cottage | Toy Drive
It was the season of giving, and what better way to give than with a Toy Drive. We put a truck on the Showroom, put down the tailgate, and we challenged our Employees and Customers to cross off every toy on the GRACE Grapevine list. And WOW, we were so humbled with the generosity displayed as we filled the entire truck bed with toys.

Our 10th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament touched more people’s hearts than ever before, empowering us to raise $550,000 for the 2021 Classic Chevrolet Charity Fund. To spice things up this year, we included a Chevrolet Corvette C8 GIVEAWAY as part of our Tournament, and the amazing CEO of GRACE Grapevine, Shonda Schaefer, won– what a deserving winner.

Classic Chevrolet Fishing Tournament
We partnered with Tarrant County Opens to host our first Classic Chevrolet Fishing Tournament. We have so many Classic Family members who are avid fishermen so we got together with Paul Landers, one of our technicians and a tournament pro, to see what we could accomplish. Victory Fishing Events came to do the weigh-in, Southwest ADI brought their GM Accessories Truck, a food truck came to feed us after fishing, and we had a ton of fun!

Carter BloodCare | Chevy Trax Giveaway
Our Classic Chevrolet Fleet partnered with Carter BloodCare, one of our favorite clients, to present the “Spirit of Giving SUV GIVEAWAY”. After a few months of donations, Carter BloodCare randomly selected a winner from the thousands of donors, and a very lucky soon-to-be college freshman, Megan H., from Henderson, TX, won the new Chevrolet Trax.

Our 2020 Classic Chevrolet Charity Fund events were hosted virtually, and Tom & Susan Durant’s community tally reached over $3 million– the largest milestone of a dealership in Texas.
9th Annual Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament | Virtual Silent Auction
For 8 years, we’ve had the privilege of hosting an incredible day of sportsmanship and fundraising at our Annual Steve Thompson Classic Charity Golf Tournament (now Classic Chevrolet Charity Golf Tournament). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we came to the unfortunate conclusion that it was best to cancel the 9th Annual Steve Thompson Classic Charity Golf Tournament and virtually host our Silent Auction. While it saddened us to cancel our favorite event of the year, we were astounded by the support we received from our employees, vendors, sponsors, and community advocates, and we still raised $400,000 for our 2020 Classic Chevrolet Charity Fund.

3rd Annual Classic Chevrolet 5k de Mayo Social Run | Virtual 5k
Our 3rd Annual Classic Chevrolet 5k De Mayo Social Run had to take an alternate running path and transitioned to the 3rd Annual Classic Chevrolet 5k De Mayo Virtual Run. Although we didn’t get to run together, Tom & Susan Durant still matched registration fees dollar-for-dollar, and participants were encouraged to grab a quarantine companion and run in their neighborhoods instead.
